Under general direction of the clinical coordinator and /or director utilizes independent judgement to assist nurses with services for patients, while adhering to departmental and organizational policies, procedures, and standards.
· Schedules patient appointments timely to ensure compliance with treatment schedule · Checks in patients including identification, rooming and obtaining vital signs · Orders and stocks linen, medical, kitchen and office supplies · Cleans treatment bays and other equipment between patients · Answers telephone promptly and triages calls to resolve issues as soon as possible · Prepares registration and paper work for following day · Enters daily charges into spreadsheet for posting · Takes initiative to care for the needs and/or concerns of patients and visitors in the procedure rooms, access hallways, and patient waiting areas. · Performs related duties as required
Required: · Able to read, write and speak English · Experience: Prior healthcare experience required · Licensure/Certification: o CPR /BLS o Certified medical assistant or patient care assistant · Preferred: o Experience: Medical terminology, experience in oncology
