Needs to have extensive knowledge of Materials Management functions. Responsible for purchasing of all supplies and equipment as well as repairs for equipment and environment. Responsible for all billing all supplies and products on a daily basis.
• Responsible for the entire Materials Management function in the Cardiovascular Interventional Lab - Coordinates the purchasing function for the all CVIL procedures including vendor interviews, assisting with contract development; placing, receiving and expediting orders. • Maintains department inventory databases - Implements ongoing development and maintenance of the automated inventory (IMMS) and ACCESS programs. • Maintains all Revenue collections - Submits billing on a daily basis in the department and assesses procedure and equipment charges on a daily basis. • Cardiology Performance Improvement - Performs cost analysis of products and carries out product conversions. • Complies with Medical Device Safety Protocols - Coordinates tracking efforts on implantable products according to FDA. • Performs related duties as required
• Required: • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. • Experience: • Experience in the materials/purchasing discipline. • Extensive knowledge of Materials Management functions and computer experience with
ACCESS, EXCEL, WORD, and/or other similar programs.
• Preferred: • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration preferred.
