Responsibilities

• Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and general inquiries, escalating complex issues as needed.

• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities, including new hire paperwork, employment eligibility verification, new hire orientation, and exit interviews.

• Assist employees and managers with payroll-related inquiries, including pay discrepancies, and timekeeping issues

• Support employees and managers through leave of absence and ADA accommodation requests.

• Administer workers' compensation claims, including intake, coordination with claims administrators, and communicating with employees and managers throughout the process

• Assist with employee relations matters, including preparing documentation, conducting investigations, and following up on action items.

• Assist with the performance management cycle, including tracking timelines, compiling review data, and supporting managers on process questions.

• Partner with Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, and Learning & Development on cross-functional projects as needed.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.

• 2–4 years of experience in an HR generalist, or HR coordinator role.

• Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices, including FMLA, ADA, and workers' compensation processes.

• Proficiency with HRIS systems (Workday preferred) and Microsoft Office/Excel.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the judgment to handle confidential information appropriately.

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines.

• Collaborative, service-oriented mindset with sound judgment and professional discretion.
