MAIN OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE
• Ensure tax compliance across Middle East and Africa operations. • Ensure timely filing of all tax declarations, returns and statutory submissions. • Liaise with stakeholders across Business, Finance, IT, Regional Tax and HQ teams. • Provide tax advice and support to the Middle East and African business. • Manage relations with tax authorities, auditors and external advisors. • Support tax governance, risk management, e-invoicing and compliance initiatives.
• Prepare, review and submit tax returns, declarations and statutory filings. • Manage tax audits, inspections and regulatory inquiries (internal & external). • Ensure compliance with VAT, Corporate Income Tax, Withholding Tax and applicable local tax regulations. • Provide tax advice to Finance, Sales, Marketing, Service, Logistics and Operations teams. • Review commercial arrangements, pricing, rebates, commissions and cross-border transactions from a tax perspective. • Provide training to the business on tax compliance requirements. • Provide support to IT and Finance teams for VAT, tax engine and e-invoicing set-up. • Support ERP, automation and process improvement initiatives relating to tax compliance. • Monitor tax legislation changes and assess business impact. • Maintain tax documentation, controls and audit readiness.
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in tax (advisory, Big Four and/or multinational environment). • Strong and proven experience in VAT, Corporate Income Tax, Withholding Tax and tax compliance. • Experience managing tax audits and dealing with tax authorities. • Experience with Orion (ERP) and/or OneSource is a benefit. • Knowledge of IFRS, IAS and tax reporting requirements is preferred. • Finance, Accounting or Tax education at university level. Professional qualification is advantageous. COMPETENCIES

PERSON SPECIFICATION (REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS) • CPA, ACCA, or equivalent degrees / certification.
