The Position Artheon is seeking a motivated Associate Planner to join our Planning Department. As a multidisciplinary firm, Artheon works with public and private sector clients throughout New Jersey, providing a wide range of planning services including comprehensive master planning, redevelopment planning, affordable housing planning, and technical professional planning support to municipal Planning and Zoning Boards. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in planning while working alongside experienced professionals on a variety of projects. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and interested in learning all aspects of municipal and land use planning. Assist with the preparation of master plans, redevelopment studies and plans, affordable housing plans, and other planning reports. Conduct research on zoning ordinances, land development regulations, demographic data, and planning best practices. Prepare maps, reports, presentations, and supporting documentation for planning projects. Assist with development applications and help ensure projects comply with municipal and state regulations. Attend meetings with clients, municipal staff, Planning Boards, and Zoning Boards, and assist with meeting preparation and follow-up. Support public outreach efforts, including community meetings, workshops, and public hearings. Coordinate with engineers, surveyors, landscape architects, and other project team members to support project delivery. Maintain project files and assist with day-to-day project coordination.
