Purpose of the job: The Senior HR Business Partner (Senior HRBP) serves as a strategic advisor to business leaders, aligning human resources strategies with organizational goals to drive business performance, employee engagement, talent development, and organizational effectiveness. The role partners closely with management to provide expert guidance on workforce planning, talent management, employee relations, change management, leadership development, succession planning, and organizational design, ensuring that people initiatives support the achievement of business objectives.
Key Responsibilities: Operational:
• Develop and implement a structured people framework that supports diverse regions and local legislative requirements, while driving effective career development, performance management, and succession planning to build organizational capability and sustain business growth. • Translate business priorities into integrated talent, organizational, and cultural strategies, actively advising and challenging senior leadership to ensure the right decisions are made to achieve business goals • Ensure that HR initiatives directly contribute to productivity, cost efficiency, service levels, and overall business performance, linking people actions to tangible operational and financial results • Leads end-to-end talent processes (performance, succession, talent reviews, leadership development) to build strong leadership pipelines and critical capabilities required for current and future business needs for the HUB • Ensures workforce readiness by aligning headcount, capabilities, and staffing strategies with dynamic operational needs, particularly in high-volume and fast-paced environments • Leverages HR analytics (turnover, absenteeism, engagement, productivity) to generate insights, anticipate trends, and drive informed, fact-based decision-making • Leads and facilitate organizational change, including growth initiatives, new business implementations, and transformations, ensuring adoption, sustainability, and minimal disruption
HUB‑wide Programs and Frameworks · Design and coordinate L&D programmes across the HUB · Focus on enhancing skills, knowledge and capabilities through training programs, workshops, mentoring and e-learning initiatives · Implement recognition excellence and engagement programmes · Align workforce planning from a HUB-wide perspective · Provide HR support for large transformation or Reimagine Finance projects
Stakeholders: · Build close partnership with HUB‑based senior leaders · Provide HR dashboards and metrics to HUB leadership · Represent the HUB in regional/global HR and GAPD leadership forums
Recruitment / Resourcing at HUB Level · Recruitment supervision for the Costa Rica-based roles, offer approvals · Governance on recruitment standards across virtual countries (non-operational guidance) · Design, delivery and management of the recruitment process (Hub Physical population)
Key Skills & Competencies: · Strategic HR Partnership · Talent, Performance & Succession Management · Employee Relations & Compliance · Change Leadership & Stakeholder Management Qualifications & Experience · Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field; master’s degree is a plus · 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including significant experience as an HR Business Partner supporting senior leaders and complex business environments · Experience in HR project and change management · Demonstrated success in driving talent management, performance management, workforce planning, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives in a multinational organization · Proven experience managing HR practices across multiple countries or regions · Excellent influencing skills and persuasiveness · Strong communication and social skills Language Requirements · English: Upper intermediate proficiency (B2+). · Spanish: Near native / mastery proficiency (C2+
