The core responsibilities of this role include: monitoring and dispatching in a time-efficient and cost-effective manner and transmitting any concerns or issues to the Customer Service Manager.
Position: Dispatcher Shift: Monday-Friday 5:00 AM- 1:30 PM Pay: $20/hr.
The ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience:
• 2+ years of Customer Service Experience. • Excellent knowledge of management methods and techniques. • Ensure that dispatching is completed with emphasis on cost effectiveness and time efficient manner. • Maintain current knowledge of routes and locations to assure timely service and accurate information. • Address problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions. • Interact and communicate with staff in a professional manner. • Utilize critical thinking skills. • Utilize tracking/dispatching software — E-Courier. • Maintain regular attendance and dependability. • Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal, and interpersonal skills. • Have excellent computer skills, including but not limited to data entry, documentation skills, organization. • Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, multi-tasking.
