Loss Prevention Specialist DC - Dillon, SC
Job Description: The Loss Prevention Specialist (DC) is responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment within the distribution center through identification and resolution of loss and risk opportunities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Promote a culture of safe and secure within the distribution centers and their off-sites • Build and develop effective partnerships with internal and external customers • Perform various audits on the facility’s physical security requirements, compliance to regulatory requirements and calibrate self-audits completed by the operations team • Identify opportunities and collaborate with business partners to drive continuous improvement and mitigate risks • Work cross-functionally to support operational initiatives, to include: store receipt accuracy, inventory accuracy, safety awareness, external events, etc. • Audit third-party Security Company to ensure alignment with HFT policies and procedures • Support theft investigations to include live and recorded video surveillance, organizing the data and supporting evidence, participating in after-action activities, etc.
• Support the Loss Prevention Manager with expansion and capital project initiatives by aiding in gathering quotes, working with vendors during install and validating work
• Assist Leadership with operating tasks as a subject matter expert on operational processes, who has a deep understanding of their impact on the business • Participate in engagement activities, such as floor observations, rewards for knowledge, regular roundtable sessions, etc. to drive the Loss Prevention culture and awareness for weekly/monthly topics Scope • Staff supervision and Development – No

The anticipated salary range for this position is $55,500 – $83,300 depending on location, knowledge, skills, education and experience. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits to Associates (and their families) such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability. Eligible Associates are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan. Associates will accrue paid time off up to 200 hours per year (inclusive of PTO, floating holidays, and paid holidays). Paid sick time up to 80 hours per year unless otherwise required by law.
Requirements: Job Qualifications – Education and Experience • Minimum of two years' experience in Distribution Operations, Loss Prevention or Security required. • Bachelor’s/Associate’s Degree preferred or High School graduate/Equivalent • Wicklander-Zulawski Interview and Interrogation certification preferred. • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite – Intermediate in Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Ability to read and interpret visualized data (graphs).

Availability • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, overnight shifts and weekends as necessary to meet the needs of the business. • Regular attendance is an essential function of the job.
Physical Requirements
Ability to communicate with customers and associates. Can speak and listen to others with equipment and machinery operating. Can lift up to 25lbs, participate in team stretches and ability to stand and move for an entire shift.
