Job Description: Oversee the day-to-day operation of an annexed retail facility during an assigned shift.Annex qualifications are determined by the Volume Standards.

Additional Qualifications/Requirements: IEAL APPLICANT WILL HAVE FLEXIBLE AVAILABILITY TO WORK MONDAY-FRIDAY BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 0630-1900, SATURDAY AND SUNDAY BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 0945-1615. SCHEDULING WILL BE DISCUSSED DURING THE INTERVIEW PROCESS.

Job Qualifications: Completion of high school or the equivalent. If applicable to position, associate must successfully complete the management motor compliance course number 175S within three months of occupying position.

Major Duties: Under direct supervision, follow all policies and procedures for the operation of a retail facility for assigned shift. Maintain store appearance and product presentation to company standards. Provide high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service. Greet each customer upon contact, assess their needs, suggest alternative options, and provide solution resolution. Keep their needs foremost and create a welcoming environment, actively engage, and build trust relationship with the customer to deliver a personalized shopping experience. Operate a cash register or other sales related equipment to enter new accounts, conduct sales, refunds, or similar transactions. Ensure all sales transactions are completed accurately. Verify and accept multiple tenders for payment and make change with accuracy and zero variance tolerance. Ensure customer needs are met, complaints are resolved, and service is quick and efficient. Maintains program compliance in all aspects of recordkeeping, inventory, storage/display, and sales, including opening and closing of facility. Actively communicates/promotes the benefits of the Military Star credit card, Exchange protection plan, and other corporate programs to customers to drive sales growth and increase customer brand loyalty. Assures compliance with fire, safety, sanitation, and security regulations, as well as ensuring the security of fixed assets, cash, and inventory. Practices loss prevention procedures and alerts security and management of potential problems that may involve fraud, waste, and abuse. Performs other duties as assigned.
