Job summary
We are looking to recruit a band 5 Staff Nurse who wants to work in a dynamic and friendly Outpatient Department to deliver a modern-day outpatients service.
We are looking for a motivated and flexible nurse to join our Outpatient team, where you will have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills, clinic management and work autonomously in our nurse led dressing clinics. Out patients at Northumbria provides staff the opportunity to use IT and technology to support patient pathways in new and innovative ways.
The post holder will be based at North Tyneside with the expectation to travel trustwide if required for our seven-day service. You will also be required to support and manage trauma and orthopaedics clinics based Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital (NSECH).

Main duties of the job
To assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care working as a member of the Department team under the direction of the Department ManagerTo be responsible for the organising and co-ordination of nursing services in the dept inthe absence of senior staff on a regular basis.

Essential Essential
o1st Level live NMC registered Nurse oEvidence of qualification to undertake the supervision, teaching and assessing of students (essential requirement for post, expectation this will be completed within an 18 month period).
Desirable
oPP126/7 oD32/33 oDiploma/degree in nursing o Valid driving license/ access to a car
