Job summary
Join our Estates Maintenance Team and make a real difference behind the scenes at the Royal United Hospitals. You'll help keep our estate running smoothly, ensuring healthcare services are delivered in an environment that is safe, well-maintained and welcoming for everyone who uses our facilities.
As part of the role, you'll take part in an on-call rota and will need to be able to reach the site within one hour when providing out-of-hours cover.
Main duties of the job
As a key member of our Estates Maintenance Team, you will carry out a broad range of painting, decorating and general building maintenance work across both clinical and non-clinical areas of the Royal United Hospitals estate. From refreshing patient-facing spaces to supporting larger refurbishment projects, you'll help create and maintain environments that are safe, welcoming and fit for outstanding patient care.
No two days are the same in this varied and rewarding role. You'll use your practical expertise to deliver high-quality workmanship, respond to maintenance needs, and contribute to projects that have a visible impact on the experience of patients, visitors and staff.

Demonstrable in-depth knowledge and experience within a maintenance skilled worker role NVQ level 2 or 3 in Painting and Decorating

Knowledge of PASMA, IPAF, Working at Height Trained in Health & Safety, i.e., NEBOSH, IOSH, First Aid etc
