Equinox will be hosting a job fair for our newest club opening soon in Culver City. Legendary past meets legendary future at our newest LA club, housed in the revitalized former home of Sony Pictures and located in the buzzing creative hub of Culver City!
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Ensure that the club and exercise equipment are clean and well maintained while providing all members, prospective members, and guests with excellent customer serviceEnsure that the sidewalk entrance and lobby are presentableClean the locker room and stock all locker room consumablesClean and organize storage, laundry, exercise, and coat roomsMaintain an adequate supply of towels on the exercise floorProvide maintenance for all equipmentUse janitorial equipment appropriately and efficientlyReceive and store all deliveriesAssist with special eventsNotify the Maintenance Manager when any rooms or equipment need immediate attentionProvide each member and potential member with the best quality customer service
Minimum of 1 year in janitorial or related experienceHigh school diploma/GED preferred or equivalent work experienceMust possess a clear understanding of what constitutes a clean and sanitary environmentPrior experience in cleaning and laundry services is highly preferredAbility to service athletic equipment along with previous experience working with cleaning products and hand toolsStrong customer service, organizational, communication, and multi-tasking abilitiesMust be able to work well with others in a team oriented environment where one willingly takes on additional tasks with a positive attitude to help out the team/department.Must be able to follow (written and oral) instructions and established proceduresMinimum of 1 year in janitorial or related experienceHigh school diploma/GED preferred or equivalent work experienceMust possess a clear understanding of what constitutes a clean and sanitary environmentPrior experience in cleaning and laundry services is highly preferredAbility to service athletic equipment along with previous experience working with cleaning products and hand toolsStrong customer service, organizational, communication, and multi-tasking abilitiesMust be able to work well with others in a team oriented environment where one willingly takes on additional tasks with a positive attitude to help out the team/department.Must be able to follow (written and oral) instructions and established proceduresESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to perform all essential physical aspects of the position which may include standing, sitting, running, walking, jumping, squatting, bending, and reaching. As well as pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs at a time
