THE POSITION
Manage and lead the multi-craft technician to a zero-breakdown cultureMake decisions on the best course of action regarding equipment down time and scheduling the multi-craft technicians according to PM’s and down equipmentPromote and monitor safety throughout your area and in the plant· Promote and train TPM/PM concepts and effective problem solving (CBS, 5 why, clean, inspect, repair)Mentor and train (or arrange training) as necessary to ensure the team is capable and effective in maintenance and repair of equipmentComplete the daily maintenance shift reportEscalate technical issues to the lead engineer that cannot be resolved by the team after 2 hours of consecutive asset downtimeCommunicate directly with the lead engineer of maintenance supervisor of the area regarding performance of the maintenance team when necessaryMonitor and ensure execution of PM tasks and work orders and follow up on completion and quality of workCommunicate all matters of attendance and vacation requests directly with the lead engineer or maintenance supervisor for the area and perform other administrative tasks as directed by your immediate supervisorCollect and assign maintenance best practices for consistency across all shiftsPartner with team to address hands-on maintenance activities as requiredMust have flexibility to adjust work schedule to meet maintenance and production needsMust have broad technical background to include knowledge of production mechanical, pneumatic, PLC, electrical, hydraulic, electronic devices, machining/grinding, and familiarity with appropriate maintenance repair/proceduresMust be able and willing to monitor production equipment within an assigned engineering maintenance area of responsibility to allow early intervention when maintenance issues arise and assign appropriate personnel to address with optimum efficiencyMust be able and willing to coach maintenance team with respect to potential training needs on an ongoing basis and promote team concepts and cohesion within the teamIssue procedures and work instructions, ensure implementation of measures, and maintain controlsRaise awareness, ensure regular ESH training and provide information about ESH responsibilities and dutiesEnsure immediate notification and response, and initiate preventive measures in case of unsafe or polluting hazardsDemonstrate exemplary personal behavior in ESH and motivate othersOther duties as assigned Qualifications

Working Conditions:
