Solve Complex Engineering Problems That Matter
Are you an electrical engineer who enjoys getting hands-on with complex hardware problems - digging into schematics, troubleshooting circuit card assemblies, determining why something failed, and driving the solution through production?
LPR International is recruiting a Sustainment / Production Engineer to support advanced technology products used in major U.S. military programs. This role sits at the intersection of electrical engineering, production, manufacturing, and product sustainment, with a strong focus on technical problem solving and lifecycle reliability.
What You'll Do
• Troubleshoot production, test, warranty, and product-performance issues.
• Diagnose Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) failures using component-level analysis, signal tracing, and power/ground integrity checks.
• Review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and circuit documentation.
• Lead structured root-cause investigations using 8D, 5-Whys, Ishikawa, and similar methodologies.
• Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Perform bench-level electrical debugging, signal probing, and validation testing.
• Support production test equipment, fixtures, calibration, and Gage R&R.
• Manage ECP/ECOs, BOM updates, technical documentation, Control Plans, FMEAs, and Inspection Plans.
• Work across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve technical issues and improve product reliability.
• Support sustainment activities throughout the product lifecycle, from initial release through end-of-life.
What We're Looking For
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or another engineering discipline with equivalent relevant experience.
• 3-5 years of Sustainment, Production, Manufacturing, or related Engineering experience preferred.
• Strong electrical engineering foundation, including schematic review, circuit analysis, test equipment operation, and CCA troubleshooting.
• Experience in defense, aerospace, electronics manufacturing, or another high-reliability environment strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively across engineering, production, and supplier teams.
• S. Citizenship required; Secret clearance or the ability and willingness to obtain one required.
