Electrician – Temporary Facilities Installation & KnockdownLocation: Monaca, PA Duration: Short-Term Project Pay Rate: $35.00/hour Per Diem: $140.00/day for eligible travelers
Position Overview1 Resource Group is seeking experienced Electricians for a short-duration project in Monaca, Pennsylvania. Electricians will support the installation, electrical setup, maintenance as needed, and knockdown/demobilization of temporary facilities and restroom units at an industrial/project site.
This is a fast-paced project requiring electricians who can work safely, efficiently, and as part of a team while meeting strict site safety and compliance requirements.
ResponsibilitiesInstall and connect electrical service for temporary facilities, trailers, and restroom units.Install temporary power, lighting, receptacles, panels, disconnects, and associated electrical components as required.Run conduit, wiring, cords, and temporary electrical distribution systems.Perform electrical hookups and disconnects during facility installation and demobilization.Troubleshoot temporary electrical systems and make necessary repairs.Assist with the safe knockdown and removal of temporary electrical systems and facilities at project completion.Verify electrical installations are safe and properly secured before energizing.Follow applicable electrical codes, site requirements, and project specifications.Coordinate with other trades during installation and removal activities.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Follow all client, project, OSHA, and company safety procedures.
Requirements
Required QualificationsPrevious commercial, industrial, construction, or temporary power electrical experience.Experience installing and removing temporary electrical systems preferred.Must have OSHA 10 training completed and be able to provide verification.Must have NFPA 70E electrical safety training completed and be able to provide verification.Must understand electrical hazards, energized work practices, PPE requirements, and Lockout/Tagout procedures.Must have appropriate electrical hand tools and PPE as required for the project.Must be able to work outdoors and in changing jobsite conditions.Must be able to lift, carry, bend, climb, and perform other physical duties associated with electrical construction.Must be dependable and available for the full duration of the project.DISA / Site RequirementsAll candidates must be able to meet DISA and client-specific requirements prior to mobilization. This may include:
Pre-employment drug screening.Background screening and/or site-access requirements.Verification of required safety training and credentials.Compliance with applicable DISA testing and site policies throughout the assignment.
