Interpath entered the German market in January 2025 and is rapidly building its presence across the DACH region. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our growing Restructuring practice while working closely with experienced Managing Directors and project teams.

Join Interpath as an Intern (m/f/d) – Restructuring in our offices in Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, or Munich and gain hands-on experience supporting high-impact restructuring and turnaround engagements.

You will work at the intersection of financial analysis, strategic problem solving, and business transformation.

Your responsibilities include:

Supporting restructuring and turnaround engagements across a broad range of industriesAssisting with financial analysis, liquidity assessments, cash flow forecasting, and business plan reviewsConducting financial modelling and analysing operational and financial performancePreparing presentations and translating complex financial analyses into clear, actionable insightsSupporting project teams in monitoring restructuring initiatives and value creation measuresConducting market and industry research to support strategic assessmentsCollaborating with consultants and managers across interdisciplinary teamsWhat Interpath Offers YouAt Interpath, you will join a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment where you can learn quickly and take responsibility from day one.

You bring strong analytical skills, commercial curiosity, and an interest in helping businesses navigate complex financial and operational challenges.

You should have:

Ongoing or recently completed Master's studies in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related fieldFirst exposure to corporate finance, restructuring, transaction services, audit, consulting, or financial analysis (through internships or academic projects)Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and corporate finance conceptsProficiency in Microsoft 365, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; experience with financial modelling is an advantageStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to structure complex informationExcellent communication skills and the ability to present financial analyses clearly to both technical and non-technical audiencesA proactive mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team environmentFluency in German (minimum C1) and English (minimum B2)Willingness to travel as required for client engagements

The minimum duration of this internship is 3 months.
