We are currently seeking experienced and adventurous nurse anesthetists for an exciting assignment in Iceland. This position is ideal for those drawn to the travel nurse lifestyle, working in a new setting for a defined period. Assignment period: Three to nine months, with a flexible start date by agreement. Responsibilities Plan and administer anesthesia for surgical procedures and examinations Operate advanced anesthesia equipment and monitoring technology Ensure safe anesthesia and maintain patients’ vital functions throughout procedures Provide care and support to patients before, during, and after anesthesia Collaborate closely with surgeons and the multidisciplinary team Contribute to maintaining a high standard of patient safety and care
Qualifications Postgraduate qualification as a nurse anesthetist (qualification must be recognized in Scandinavia) Proven experience in anesthesia care Good English skills, both spoken and written Strong teamwork abilities and a patient-centered approach
