Ranch Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our small animal general practice team in Bradenton, Florida . We're looking for someone with at least 2 years of veterinary clinical experience who is confident in a busy hospital environment and ready to bring their skills, judgment, and personality to a team that values them. As a Veterinary Technician , you will support veterinarians and ensure high-quality patient care across all phases of treatment: Exam Room & Patient Care Obtain patient history, vitals, and medical records Assist in exam room appointments and client communication Provide patient restraint and handling for small animals Educate clients on treatment plans and discharge instructions Clinical & Technical Skills Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, and sample collection Run and process in-house laboratory diagnostics Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments Maintain accurate medical documentation and records Surgical & Anesthesia Support Assist with surgical and dental procedures Monitor patients during anesthesia and recovery Prepare surgical instruments and maintain sterile technique Hospital Support Monitor hospitalized patients and report changes Assist with radiographs and diagnostic imaging Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient treatment area
