Part-Time Schedule This position offers a consistent weekly schedule: Every Friday morning Every Sunday morning Every other Saturday morning Additional shifts may be available based on hospital needs and your availability. Compensation Licensed Veterinary Technicians (LVT/RVT/CVT): Starting at $28+/hour Experienced Veterinary Assistants: Starting at $23+/hour Compensation is based on emergency experience, technical skills, and overall clinical background. Responsibilities include: Perform patient triage and assist with emergency assessments Obtain patient histories and monitor patient condition Perform venipuncture, blood collection, and IV catheter placement Administer medications, fluids, and treatments as directed Perform in-house laboratory diagnostics and sample preparation Monitor anesthesia and assist with surgical procedures Support emergency procedures and patient recovery Assist with radiology and diagnostic imaging Maintain accurate medical records and treatment sheets Communicate effectively with veterinarians, technicians, and clients Deliver compassionate support during emergency situations
