We have an opportunity for a Plumber based in and around the surrounding areas of Salford

Your Role As Our Plumber:
Repairing burst pipesResolving leaks from taps, toilets and pipeworkGeneral plumbing repairs and quick fixes within occupied propertiesDiagnosing and rectifying faults in domestic water systemsInstall, repair/ replace hot & cold-water supplies, including baths, showers and toilets and waste systemsLocate and repair hot and cold-water burstsClear blocked drains and toiletsTrace, diagnose & identify faults on hot & cold-water systemsReport / Complete works using your PDAReport accidents, near-miss events, and potential hazardsBe flexible in working with a wide range of customers, adapting to their needs and schedules What We Need from You.
Qualified plumberMinimum 5 years plumbing experienceStrong knowledge of domestic water systemsExperience working in occupied residential propertiesSocial housing experience is desirable but not essentialBasic tiling skills would be advantageousCompleted NVQ Level 2 qualificationMust have served a recognised Apprenticeship and qualification (NVQ L2/L3)Competent in all aspects of plumbing trade discipline and with experience of maintenance work on domestic properties, pre pain repairs and refurbishmentsA background of plumbing and experience in the installation of wet rooms & Disabled adaptionsExperience working within social housing environment doing bathroom replacements, pipework alterations and other repairsDemonstrated ability to work with own initiative and deal with problems encountered.A current driving license is essential
