HEAD OF FUNDRAISING & MARKETING

Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week (0.8 FTE considered) Location: Hybrid – minimum 2 days per week in Abingdon

Age UK Oxfordshire is a trusted and influential charity supporting older people and unpaid carers across the county. As part of its ambitious plans for the future, the charity is seeking an exceptional Head of Fundraising & Marketing to help sustainably grow and diversify income, strengthen their public voice, and extend impact for older people and unpaid carers across Oxfordshire.

This newly created senior leadership role offers the opportunity to drive a step-change in fundraising and external engagement, helping to deliver the organisation's strategy through to 2030.

About you:

A successful leader in fundraising, marketing, communications or income generationProven experience of developing income growth strategies and delivering resultsAn inspirational people manager with experience leading and developing high-performing teamsCommercially aware, data-driven and strategically focusedAn excellent communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skillsPassionate about making a difference to the lives of older people and unpaid carers About the role:

Lead and inspire the fundraising, marketing and communications teamDevelop and deliver an integrated income growth strategyGrow and diversify income streams and supporter engagementStrengthen the charity's profile, brand and public presenceUse insight and data to drive performance and decision-makingWork closely with the CEO, Trustees and leadership team to achieve ambitious organisational goals This is an exciting opportunity to lead a talented team, build a sustainable income engine, and play a key role in expanding the charity's reach, influence and impact across Oxfordshire.
