Soccer Coach (Boys A Team) Needed Location: Williston Central School This position will remain open until filled. However, applications received within the first seven days of posting will receive priority consideration. Internal candidates will also be prioritized over external applicants during this initial seven-day window. Williston Central School is seeking a caring and knowledgeable soccer coach to lead our Boys A team for the 2026 fall season. We are looking for an individual who can foster a competitive and supportive environment while helping athletes develop both on and off the field. This is a part-time, Category B stipend position. The season begins on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, and runs through October 23, 2026. Weekly commitments include practices four afternoons per week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday) from 2:50 PM to 4:15 PM, in addition to scheduled games. Primary Responsibilities
• Organize, supervise, and lead practices and scheduled games, providing skill development for middle school athletes.
• Foster a positive and inclusive team culture to enhance each athlete's experience.
• Communicate regularly with families regarding practices, cancellations, games, and team goals and expectations.
• Maintain emergency contact information, manage team equipment and uniforms, and remain aware of all players' health concerns.
• Complete all mandatory district trainings, including district-provided compression CPR training.
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess
• Demonstrated experience playing or coaching soccer; experience coaching middle school athletes is preferred, but not required.
• A thorough understanding of soccer and enthusiasm for sharing knowledge with studentathletes.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with a commitment to fostering a positive team experience.
• A commitment to inclusivity and building a supportive environment for all student-athletes.
