Type of Position: Technology/Engineering Teacher Location: Ottoson Middle School, Arlington, MA We are looking for an innovative STEAM educator who can inspire students to become life-long learners and creative risk-takers, and provide students with the technical skills and Habits of Mind they need to solve problems and realize their own creative vision. Teach seventh and eighth grade middle school Technology/Design Engineering courses that engage students in hands-on projects that teach fabrication and design skills while encouraging problem solving and creative risk taking. Curricula must also explore concepts related to the State Standards in Technology & Engineering, including manufacturing, transportation, and engineering Qualifications: 1. (preferred) Licensed in Technology/Engineering,Middle School Science, Visual Art or other License deemed appropriate.
