Qualifications:
• Required: Current NATEF Certification
• Required: Current ASE Certification
• Required: High School Diploma
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree or higher in related field
Certification(s): Valid Michigan Standard CTE Certificate or Professional CTE Certificate with ANY of the following CIP Endorsements:
• Automobile Technician (NATEF Certified) 47.0604
• Auto Mechanics 47.0684
• Automotive 04.0300
• Mechanics 17.0302
• Mechanics Cluster 47.0699
• Transportation Services and Technology 47.9999
OR
• Be eligible for an Annual Career Authorization with a minimum of 4,000 recent and relevant hours of work experience in any of hte above-related fields within the past ten (10) years.
• Valid Michigan Department of Education Secondary Certificate, endorsed in Industrial Technology (IX) or Industrial and Technology Education (TE), additional credentials preferred.
