Date Posted August 13, 2026 Position (554.610) Fuel Truck Driver, Transportation Department Permanent, full-time, 12 months / 8 hours per day / benefit eligible Position Available August 24, 2026 Reports To Transportation Coordinator Salary/Non-Exempt Grade 59T - $2,785.12 - $4,149.87 per month, plus local supplement Qualifications
• Must hold or be eligible to hold a North Carolina Commercial Driver's License
• Must have B class CDL, obtain tanker endorsement
• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions
• Ability to work outdoors under minimal supervision
• General knowledge of vehicle maintenance
• Heavy lifting required
Responsibilities
• Operate the fuel truck daily
• Fuel buses and accurately record the odometer readings for processing
• Check tires and fluid levels on all vehicles
• Change, mount, and dismount tires as needed
• Other duties as assigned
