About this role
This is a full time long term sub position teaching 4th grade at Halifax Elementary School in Halifax, MA. This role will start at the beginning of the school year and may last a month or longer. The teacher is responsible for teaching all subject areas, communicating with families and collaborating with colleagues. The candidate needs to be able to communicate clearly in writing and verbally. It is expected that the candidate be a certified teacher (SEI endorsed) and support students academically, emotionally, and behaviorally. This position reports directly to the building principal. A successful candidate will: ~ possess a valid MA teaching license ~ collaborate with grade level teachers ~ use data to inform instruction ~ communicate clearly and concisely verbally and in writing ~ work with students, colleagues and families from diverse backgrounds with diverse needs in an inclusive and culturally-proficient manner ~ support students academically, emotionally, and behaviorally ~ Taught or have familiarity with Wonders, HMH and OG is preferred Salary is a daily rate of $324.02 beginning on day 1.
