Job Title: Junior High School Games Manager Qualifications: Experience supervising large groups Previous experience in athletics. (Coaching or Athletic Leadership) Knowledge of the overall athletic program operation Valid driver's license Evaluation: The performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with the provisions of the Board's policy on staff Evaluation. Reports to: Assistant Principal Terms of Employment: This is a yearly stipend position. Depending on the review of school needs and the evaluation process, the term may be extended annually. FLSA: Exempt Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervises home and away events, games, meets, and tournaments (as determined by the Athletic Director and Assistant Principal)

• Travels to away games, if a personal vehicle is used, reimbursement will be provided

• Set-up of home events, games, meets, and tournaments

• Collects, reconciles, and documents gate receipts

• Assists with All-Sports, parent meeting

• Verifies event contracts

• Assists with filing the appropriate paperwork with the IESA and MNC

• Assists with the promotion of all events through social media

• Verifies schedules and monitors all game workers, transportation, and officials for each event assigned

• Assists with pack the gym nights, end-of-season reporting, and end-of-season awards nights

• Other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• General Knowledge of athletic event management

• Ability to connect with students and parents to create a supportive environment

• General knowledge of CUSD 50, MNC, and State policy regarding event management

• General understanding of the rules of the sport as guided by the MNC and IESA

Physical Demands: The physical demands of this position include frequent periods of sitting and standing. The majority of the position is moving around supervising events, employees, and students. Depending on the assignment, the employee may occasionally lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 50 pounds. Repetitive bending at the waist, as well as kneeling, stooping, and crouching to assist students, is also required. Employees may reach overhead as well as above the shoulders and horizontally.
