Cafeteria Recess Monitor Mosaic Elementary 3.5 hours daily 2026-2027 School year Anticipated Start Date: 8/24/2026 Position Summary: Responsible for ensuring the safety and security of students while in the cafeteria. Qualifications:
• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
Essential Job Functions include the following:
• Ensures the safety and security of students
• Supervises, monitors and directs the activities of students on the playground, in the cafeteria, or hallways and other common areas (outside unless extreme cold, hot, or rain/sleet/snow)
• Maintains safety and cleanliness of the cafeteria areas
• Enforces school rules and policies
• Documents disciplinary infractions and/or refers the situation to the proper administrator
• Performs minor first aid and/or refers to the school nurse.
• Performs miscellaneous clerical duties
• Other duties may be assigned
