• Provide targeted reading intervention to small groups of students.
• Use assessment and progress-monitoring data to identify and address individual reading needs.
• Implement evidence-based literacy strategies and interventions.
• Monitor and document student progress.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and other instructional staff.
• Help students strengthen foundational reading, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension skills as appropriate.
