All posts within the maternity service are rotational, ensuring midwives maintain and develop clinical skills across all care settings, including:o Birth environmentso Antenatal wardso Postnatal wards and close observation unito Community Setting
Our teams work a variety of rostered shifts, including long days and night shifts to support a 24-hour service, 365 days per year.
We are looking for adaptable professionals who can demonstrate the flexibility required to meet service needs.

Registered Midwife Diploma/Degree or equivalent in Midwifery

Experience Essential
Ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of midwifery in all areas of the service with recent working within the community setting Recent experience of working in an acute hospital setting Completed midwifery training Evidence of effective clinical skills e.g. -Adult resuscitation -Neonatal resuscitation -Competent CTG interpretation
Desirable
Experience of working in a community setting as a student or newly qualified midwife Perineal suturing/Care of epidurals/ Obstetric theatre skills NHS experience
