Job summary
We are a friendly, well-established independent medical practice with a close-knit team, and we are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Phlebotomist to join us.
The successful candidate will work one full day per week primarily as a Phlebotomist, carrying out blood tests and providing a professional and reassuring service to our patients.
There may also be an opportunity to work additional days as a Medical Receptionist, should they so wish, supporting the practice with day-to-day reception and administrative duties. This would suit someone who enjoys a varied role and working as part of a small, supportive team.

Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
Recognised Phlebotomy/Venepuncture qualification or relevant accredited training Demonstrable competence in venepuncture Up-to-date knowledge of health and safety and safe handling of clinical specimens Willingness to undertake any mandatory training required by the practice
Desirable
Previous experience as a Phlebotomist within a GP practice, NHS or other healthcare setting Experience using EMIS or other clinical systems
