Job summary

At present, University Hospitals of North Midlands (UHNM) is unable to offer visa sponsorship for Band 2 to Band 4 roles, as these positions do not meet the minimum salary and skill thresholds required under UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) regulations.

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join ourDomestic Services TeamatCounty Hospital, Stafford. The successful candidates will help provide and maintain a clean, safe and hygienic environment for patients, visitors and staff, in line with theNational Standards of Healthcare Cleanliness 2025and UHNM policies and procedures.

Working as part of a dedicated team, you will play a vital role in supporting high standards of cleanliness across the hospital to ensure a positive experience for patients and visitors.

These vacancies are for Night Shift based at County Hospital, Stafford only. Please do not apply if you are seeking employment at Royal Stoke University Hospital or if you are seeking day shifts at County Interviews will take place at County Hospital on Friday 21st August, there will be no alternative arrangements. If you are unsuccessful in the test, you will not proceed to the one to one interview. Test results are final and will not be discussed.

Main duties of the job

We are recruiting to a range of part-time night shift Domestic Assistant positions, with a variety of working patterns available.

Shifts patterns range from Monday - Friday OR 3 on 3 off between the hours of 6:00pm - 2:00am. Further details of shift patterns and hours will be discussed at interview.

Interviews will take place at County Hospital on Friday 21st August. You will be asked to provide ID in order to be interviewed as full ID checks and forms will be completed. For evidence of your ID you will need to provide both Right to Work and ID documentation.

Experience Essential

Ability to communicate with other staff, Trust employees and service users

Desirable

Previous working experience within an NHS environment

Education and qualifications Essential

Basic understanding of spoken and written English Ability to complete basic paperwork relevant to duties.
