As a Radiographic Assistant, you'll be at the heart of our radiology department, contributing to essential imaging services that help diagnose and treat our patients.

What We're Looking For:

Strong communication skills and a team-oriented spirit, ready to collaborate with our diverse healthcare professionals. Experience in a healthcare setting is a plus, but we welcome enthusiastic candidates eager to learn and grow! Please note due we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.

Main duties of the job

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Assisting Radiologists, Radiographers and administrative staff to maintain a good level of service Support Radiologists, Radiographers and technicians by providing a high standard of patient care before during and after examination Maintain effective communication with patients, relatives and UHBW colleagues Liaise with colleagues regarding transportation of patients to and from the x-ray dept To assist with moving equipment and help with transferring patients on and off examination couches

Knowledge and Experience Essential

Previous NHS experience or experience of working in a similar setting

Qualifications Essential

Maths GCSE or equivalent English GCSE or equivalent
