The Screen-out Element for this position is: operating a bulk fuel distribution system, operating fuel delivery vehicles, performing daily inspections and preventative maintenance on system equipment, conducting quality control sampling. Major DutiesYou will receive, store, issue, distribute, and deliver diesel, gasoline, and aviation fuel to authorized customers throughout the installation in accordance with applicable federal, state, local, and Department of Defense (DoD) regulations.You will operate fuel storage, pumping, and fuel delivery equipment to receive, transfer, transport, and dispense bulk fuel products while maintaining accurate fuel inventory, transaction, and accountability records.You will perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and operational checks on fuel storage tanks, pumping systems, fuel distribution equipment, fuel delivery vehicles, and spill response equipment to ensure safe and reliable operations.You will conduct fuel sampling, quality control testing, physical inventories, and inventory reconciliations to ensure fuel quality, regulatory compliance, and accurate accountability of bulk fuel products.You will respond to fuel spills and emergency incidents; prepares and maintains required documentation and reports; coordinates with customer organizations and maintenance personnel to support safe, efficient, and uninterrupted fuel operations.
