Job Requirements Role Summary/Purpose:
• Summary : Having Manual Testing and Test Automation Experience using Python and Robot Framework in Linux environment • Purpose : Test Automation Engineer is responsible for - Understanding the Python code/Library/Config, Writing a Test scripts/execute in Robot Framework and able to develop the Keywords, Generate the Test Automation report. - Past hands on experience in Test case development and Manual Test Execution on workbench (Hardware in the loop (HIL) environment) and convert the same Test case to Test Automation Scripts in Robot Framework/Python for Sanity Testing/Regression Testing Essential Responsibilities
• Proficiency in writing Python code and Python functions as per PEP 8 standards • Hands-on experience on Robot framework and Test Automation using keyword driven approach. • Ability to work on Hardware in the loop (HIL) environment, Worked on Simulators based environment for Sub-System testing. • Work experience on Functional testing, Sanity testing, System level testing, and Regression testing. • Hands-on experience in development board such as Raspberry pi, beagle bone, any Arm controller board. • Knowledge on Linux commands and Shell Scripting, DevOps using container docker • Have experience on transmission Protocol such as UDP, TCP, Serial Protocol etc • Good knowledge on Software development life cycle. • Familiar with tools such as DOORS, Jenkins, Git/Gerrit, ClearQuest/ClearCase, CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery/Deployment). • Must be able to create Test Plan, Test Specification, Test Record, Test Report, Test Validation, Release Documents. • Working knowledge on any of the Rail/Aero/Automotive Sub system is add on.
Work Experience Qualifications/Requirements:
• Bachelors/Master’s degree in Electronic and Communication engineering/ Computer science engineering from any institute of repute • 5+ Plus years’ experience in Test Automation • Excellent oral & written technical communication • Demonstrated initiative, resourcefulness, solve problems, and deliver results • Ability to multi-task & prioritize effectively • Team player with ability to work with minimal direction • Strong organizational skills and prior success in working with cross-functional teams • Commitment to Integrity & Compliance
