Your employees are located in multiple locations across Europe and this role is based in Viby. About the job Reporting to our CFO, you will deliver clear and independent insight into the economics and dynamics of the Arla milk pool and the wider global dairy markets, and their likely effect on the Arla business. You will head up teams of motivated colleagues – 8 leaders and in total an organisation of +80 colleges with whom you will be leading the performance management agenda in the different areas, ensuring strong financial support in all the areas you are servicing. Other key responsibilities for the role are
• Partner closely with EMT members and senior leaders acting as a trusted advisor and challenger in driving the strategic agendas and performance. • Own and support financial insight related to milk price, including how milk price is calculated and operationally executed, ensuring credibility towards farmer owners and governance bodies. • Lead the performance management agenda and participate in LT’s across your functional areas, supporting decision‑making at senior and EMT level. • Translate sustainability, carbon footprint, and farmer data into actionable insight and business value, with clear data governance. • Drive development and performance within Global Trade & Planning, ensuring strong financial criteria in S&OP and trading decisions. • Be part of the FLT and lead and develop large, multi‑disciplinary finance teams ensuring high standards of finance partnering and people leadership. • Support and present to Boards, Councils, and farmer forums with financial insight and communication related to milk price and performance. Who are you? You have 5-10 years of experience as a people manager coupled with documented results on your ability to be a strong, relevant and professional finance partner to the business. You will be expected to have a strong focus on motivating and engaging your teams to ensure that high quality business partnering and support is delivered. You feel at home in a senior leadership team and are motivated by challenging the business to achieve its objectives. Furthermore, this is the right role for an exceptional communicator who can navigate and influence a global organization and who has a clear voice and drive for efficient performance management reporting. Experience with complex stakeholder management in a matrix set‑up is also a key lever for success. If you can document that you have driven change using new technologies and AI, leveraging new ways of working, it is advantageous. Finally, strategic and commercial mindset and naturally flair for building business cases and translating strategy into decision support across complex, cross‑functional areas is key.
