We are also deeply committed to recognizing and valuing diversity across our teams. https://www.godrejcp.com/ About the role To lead financial controlling, statutory reporting, governance, and compliance activities for GCPL India(Listed entity) and its wholly owned Indian subsidiaries. Key Responsibilities – · Lead and coordinate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close activities, ensuring timely and accurate closure of books of accounts. · Review Trial Balance and ensure accuracy of accounting records and financial reporting. · Prepare and review management information reports (MIS) · Preparation and review of standalone financial statements and related disclosures in accordance with Ind AS and statutory requirements. · Lead the closure of statutory audits and ITAC audits across legal entities and ensure timely resolution of audit observations. · Managing the preparation, review, and accuracy of financial indicators and disclosures for Business Responsibility & Sustainability Reporting (BRSR) · Review and account for complex accounting transactions including PLVR, Structured Financing, ESOP, Expected Credit Loss (ECL), impairment assessment, and other significant accounting entries. · Monitor and review working capital, intercompany balances, and export receivables. · Manage Related Party Transaction (RPT) compliances and disclosures. · Review contingent liability assessments, including indirect tax matters, and ensure appropriate financial statement disclosures. · Coordinate actuarial valuations and accounting for employee benefit obligations. · Ensure compliance with MSME reporting requirements and other statutory reporting obligations. · Provide day-to-day accounting guidance on Ind AS, regulatory requirements, and complex business transactions. · Drive continuous process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and support automation initiatives within the Controlling function. · Partner with internal stakeholders, auditors, tax teams, and business functions to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and compliance. Qualification & Experience – · Chartered Accountant with 3-4 years of experience · Atleast 1-2 year of relevant experience in controlling in India headquartered listed entity ( Not Shared Services) · Candidates with prior Big 4 audit experience will be preferred Skills required – · Strong knowledge of Ind AS, Schedule III, Companies Act, and financial reporting requirements. · Experience in statutory audits, internal controls, and financial governance. · Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modelling skills. · Proficiency in SAP, Advanced Excel, and reporting tools. · Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and project coordination skills.
