About this role

Facilities Electrician: The Facilities Electrician plays a critical role in ensuring the safe, reliable, and continuous operation of facility and utility systems that support manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for the daily operation, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical infrastructure and production support systems.The ideal candidate will perform preventive maintenance, respond to equipment alarms and emergencies, and help maintain cleanroom environments and critical facility systems to support uninterrupted production operations. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform commercial and industrial electrical maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting. • Inspect and maintain electrical rooms, distribution panels, and backup power systems. • Repair, replace, and maintain facility lighting systems. • Complete work orders accurately and maintain detailed maintenance records. • Ensure compliance with all applicable electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards. • Coordinate and communicate with vendors, contractors, and service providers. • Maintain inventory of electrical parts, equipment, and supplies; submit orders as needed. • Support general facility maintenance activities, including HVAC, plumbing, and building systems. • Execute preventive maintenance programs and assist with facility reliability initiatives. • Troubleshoot industrial electrical systems and equipment to minimize downtime. • Respond to system alarms, operational issues, and emergency maintenance requests as needed. Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of commercial and/or industrial electrical experience. • Strong experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems, panels, and distribution equipment. • Proficiency in conduit bending, power distribution, and electrical installations. • Working knowledge of motors, circuit breakers, electrical panels, and lighting systems. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical diagrams. • Experience with building automation and control systems, including: • Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) • Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) • Control switches and touchscreens • Building management systems

Preferred Experience:

• Experience working in manufacturing, semiconductor, EMS, or cleanroom environments. • Familiarity with preventive maintenance systems and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on safety, quality, and reliability. Work Environment & Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. • Must be available to respond to after-hours emergency calls when required. • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, or adjusted schedules during emergencies, shutdowns, or special projects. • Work is performed in manufacturing facilities, EMS environments, electrical rooms, and cleanroom settings.
