Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic Location: Lipan Plant, COSalary: $62,400 - $79,040 annuallySchedule: Monday-Saturday, 7:00 AM-5:00 PM (hours may vary based on paving and construction schedules)Sign-On Bonus: $3,000About the Role We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic to join a family-owned company that has been serving the industry since 1906. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a diverse fleet of heavy construction equipment used in asphalt paving and earthmoving operations.This position is primarily field-based, with approximately 80% of work performed at active job sites. You'll be provided with a fully equipped company service truck and will travel throughout a 50-mile service territory from Longmont to Sedalia.Key Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and repairs on heavy construction equipment • Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems • Complete accurate repair documentation and maintenance records • Work safely and efficiently in both field and shop environments • Respond to equipment breakdowns at construction sites • Maintain service truck inventory and tools • Minimize equipment downtime through timely repairs and maintenance Equipment You'll Service Including but not limited to:

• CAT 980 Loaders • Excavators • Milling Machines • Asphalt Pavers • Rollers • Scrapers • Compaction Equipment • Asphalt Production and Paving Equipment • CAT 6090 and other heavy construction equipment Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience repairing and maintaining heavy equipment • Strong diesel engine troubleshooting and repair skills • Experience with hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems • Valid driver's license required • Clean driving record (no DUI or reckless driving violations) • Ability to work independently in field environments • Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship Schedule & Work Environment

• Monday-Saturday schedule, generally 7:00 AM-5:00 PM • Hours may extend based on asphalt production and paving schedules • Consistent overtime available, with the potential to work 60+ hours per week • Service territory covers approximately a 50-mile radius from the Lipan Plant, including areas from Longmont to Sedalia • Approximately 80% of work is performed in the field at active construction sites • Company-provided service truck for daily operations Compensation & Benefits Sign-On Bonus: $3,000
