General Production Worker Job Summary Pay: $22-25We are seeking a dependable General Production Worker to support our fabrication and welding operations. In this hands-on manufacturing role, you will assist with material preparation, fabrication support, tack welding, grinding, sanding, and general production activities. This position is ideal for candidates with manufacturing, construction, fabrication, or industrial experience who are looking to develop their skills in a growing organization.The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, mechanically inclined, willing to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment. Key Responsibilities
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the facility. • Support welding and fabrication teams with daily production activities. • Perform material preparation including sanding, grinding, deburring, and layout of brackets and components. • Assist with tack welding and basic fabrication tasks as trained. • Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic production equipment safely and efficiently. • Load, move, and handle materials throughout the production process. • Replenish welding and fabrication consumables as needed. • Assist with mechanical assembly and construction-related projects within the facility. • Perform basic quality inspections to verify accuracy and compliance with specifications. • Support sandblasting and surface preparation activities when required. • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements. • Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet production goals. Required Qualifications
• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, industrial labor, fabrication, or construction environments. • Ability to perform physically demanding work and remain active throughout the shift. • Experience using hand tools and power tools safely. • Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of production equipment. • Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety procedures. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. • Willingness to learn welding and fabrication processes. • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in fabrication, welding support, or metalworking environments. • Tack welding experience. • Sandblasting or surface preparation experience. • Quality inspection experience in a manufacturing setting. • Experience working around heavy industrial equipment and machinery. Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials throughout the workday. • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods. • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to welding, grinding, and fabrication activities. • Ability to work in hot, cold, and changing weather conditions. Work Environment This position is based in a heavy industrial fabrication facility with both indoor and outdoor work areas. Employees regularly work around welding equipment, fabrication machinery, grinders, and other production equipment. The environment is similar to a construction site and requires strict adherence to safety procedures. Shift Schedule Multiple rotating shifts are available:
• Day Shift (A & B Shift): 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM • Night Shift (C & D Shift): 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM Schedules follow a rotating shift pattern and require flexibility to support production needs. Why Join Us?
