Job Title: Production WorkerJob DescriptionThis role operates in a production environment where you prepare batches of paint, sealants, and coatings by following detailed ingredient lists and mixing the correct materials for each batch. You will learn to start up and operate machinery, complete batches from start to finish, and work in a hybrid capacity across multiple areas of production. Once batches are complete, you will fill the appropriate container sizes for customers and prepare products for shipment.Responsibilities
• Prepare batches of paint, sealants, and coatings by accurately following ingredient lists and mixing the correct materials. • Set up, start, and operate production machinery as trained to complete each batch safely and efficiently. • Work in a hybrid capacity, assisting in multiple areas of production as needed. • Fill completed batches into the correct size containers according to customer requirements. • Label, package, and prep filled containers for shipping. • Follow work orders and production instructions to meet quality and productivity standards. • Perform general production tasks including batching, mixing, and material handling. • Conduct basic inspection of products and batches to ensure quality and consistency. • Apply inventory control principles to track materials and finished goods accurately. • Use basic math skills to measure, calculate, and verify quantities during batching and filling. • Operate a forklift to move materials and finished products, where required for the hybrid role. • Read and interpret blueprints or production documentation as needed for batching and mixing. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in the production facility. • Work collaboratively with the production team to meet daily and weekly production goals. • Wear required personal protective equipment and follow all safety guidelines at all times. Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of West Bend, WI. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
