Shop Laborer -- $21/Hour Job DescriptionThis role involves performing general labor tasks in a container storage yard, including light repairs, cleaning, and painting. You will use basic hand tools to maintain walls, trim, and windows, clean trailers using standard cleaning equipment, and paint floors, walls, and ceilings with rollers while working as part of a small, collaborative team.Responsibilities
• Perform light repairs on walls, trim, and windows using basic hand tools. • Clean trailers thoroughly using mops, brooms, and other standard cleaning tools. • Paint floors, walls, and ceilings with rollers to maintain a clean and presentable environment. • Handle general labor tasks in a large container storage yard as directed by supervisors or team leads. • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of tools and materials. • Follow safety procedures and guidelines while working in an outdoor environment exposed to the elements. Essential Skills
• At least 6+ months of manual labor experience. • Ability to use hand tools for light repairs on walls, trim, and windows. • Ability to clean trailers using mops, brooms, and other basic cleaning equipment. • Ability to paint floors, walls, and ceilings using rollers. • Willingness to perform cleaning tasks on a regular basis. Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Any electrical knowledge is a plus. • Any HVAC knowledge is a plus. • Experience in construction or yard work is beneficial. • Ability to work effectively as part of a small team.
