Job Title: Facility Maintenance EngineerJob DescriptionThe Facility Maintenance Engineer supports day-to-day repairs, installations, troubleshooting, and general upkeep in a fast-paced industrial environment. This role maintains cleanliness and organization throughout the shop and common areas, performs basic building and office repairs, assists with carpentry and painting projects, and supports equipment inspections and installation work. The position requires regular physical activity, safe use of hand and power tools, and accurate completion of basic maintenance documentation.Responsibilities

• Assist with repairs, installations, troubleshooting, and general facility upkeep in a fast-paced industrial setting. • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the shop, including restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas. • Perform basic building and office repairs such as replacing light fixtures and assembling furniture. • Support carpentry and painting projects using appropriate hand and power tools. • Conduct routine inspections and cleaning of equipment to help ensure proper operation and safety. • Assist with installation projects, including lighting systems and rack systems. • Complete basic maintenance documentation accurately and in a timely manner. • Support preventative maintenance tasks and help track parts, tools, and materials needed for ongoing work. • Follow written and verbal instructions to complete maintenance and cleaning tasks according to established procedures. • Work safely while lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, bending, and working at heights. • Operate hand and power tools in a safe and responsible manner. • Adapt to varying environmental conditions within the facility while maintaining a high standard of work quality. Essential Skills

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in facility or building maintenance, including cleaning, painting, outdoor work, installing and assembling furniture, and minor repairs. • Basic experience with minor electrical repairs. • Basic experience with minor plumbing repairs. • Exposure to HVAC or general building systems maintenance. • Ability to perform troubleshooting on facility and building-related issues. • Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools and equipment. • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately. • Working knowledge of basic math and measurements for maintenance and installation tasks. • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, bend, and work at heights on a regular basis. • Ability to work safely in varying environmental conditions within an industrial facility. • Capability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with general facility maintenance in an industrial or commercial setting. • Experience in janitorial or industrial cleaning duties. • Painting experience for interior and exterior surfaces. • Experience with furniture assembly and basic carpentry tasks. • Familiarity with building maintenance, including lighting and rack system installations. • Ability to complete basic maintenance documentation and keep accurate records of work performed. • Organizational skills to track parts, tools, and materials needed for ongoing projects. • Attention to detail when inspecting equipment and performing preventative maintenance. • Comfort working both independently and collaboratively with other maintenance and facility staff.
