What You'll Do As an Assembler, you'll play a key role in building and testing equipment while learning valuable electro-mechanical skills in a supportive environment. Key Responsibilities
• Assemble mechanical and electrical equipment from start to finish using hand and power tools. • Read and follow blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and assembly instructions. • Build and wire control panels, including PLC and drive components (programming not required). • Assemble conveyors, install motors, and build panel boards to specification. • Install wiring, electrical components, and panels while maintaining high quality and safety standards. • Perform both repetitive assembly tasks and more advanced build work as your skills develop. • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues during the assembly process. • Support warehouse, packaging, and other production-related activities when needed. • Utilize computer systems and production software to support assembly and manufacturing processes. • Collaborate with teammates on a brand-new production line and contribute ideas for continuous improvement. • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Who We're Looking For Required Qualifications
• Mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn. • Experience working with hand and power tools. • Ability to read basic technical drawings, manuals, or assembly instructions. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. • Reliable work history and desire for long-term career growth. • Comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment. • Electro-mechanical assembly experience. • Experience reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints. • Experience troubleshooting mechanical or electrical systems. • Familiarity with conveyors, motors, control panels, or industrial equipment. • Experience working in manufacturing or production environments. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, VA.
