Job Title: Machine Operator / InspectorPay: $22-$25Shift: 6am-2:30pm or 1pm-9pmContract to hire: 6-monthJob DescriptionThe Machine Operator / Inspector is responsible for performing advanced manufacturing operations related to metal processing and stripping processes. This role ensures that products are processed accurately, safely, and in full compliance with work order instructions and quality standards, while supporting overall production flow and efficiency.Responsibilities
• Cut metal materials according to work order instructions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications. • Clean metals using dip or conveyor processes to prepare materials for subsequent production steps. • Perform operations within designated stripping areas in accordance with established procedures. • Cut and bake metal components and perform resist touch-up as required to meet product requirements. • Move products to the next operation with complete and accurate documentation, including travelers and in-process inspection sheets that are properly signed and dated. • Ensure all processes and procedures are followed prior to quality assurance inspection to maintain consistent product standards. • Verify that products meet specifications through in-process checks and inspections. • Maintain accuracy and completeness of all production documentation to support traceability and quality control. • Clean and change production chemicals according to specifications and established schedules. • Follow all safety procedures when handling chemicals and operating equipment to maintain a safe working environment. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Jose, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
