Material Handler - Miramar - First Shift - $21/hrJob DescriptionThe Material Handler plays a key role in ensuring accurate inventory control and efficient order fulfillment. This position works daily in an ERP ticketing system to process tickets and orders, pick and pack materials, and collaborate with the shipping and customer service teams to ensure timely delivery of parts and products. The role includes receiving raw materials and pallets, updating inventory records, organizing warehouse space, and supporting internal teams with clear and professional communication.Responsibilities

• Work in the ERP ticketing system to process tickets and orders accurately. • Pick and pack orders based on ERP-generated tickets and prepare them for shipment. • Collaborate with the shipping team to ensure orders are shipped out correctly and on time. • Receive raw materials and pallets daily and offload them from trucks safely. • Complete inventory check-in for incoming materials and update inventory data in the ERP system. • Place inventory in appropriate bins and storage locations to maintain organized stock. • Perform inventory control activities, including cycle counts and reconciliation of discrepancies. • Support the customer service team by fulfilling spare parts requests for customers in the field. • Coordinate with manufacturing to help manage and deliver materials as needed. • Carry out warehouse cleaning responsibilities to maintain a safe and orderly environment. • Complete warehouse organization tasks when new parts are received or as operational needs arise. • Use computers daily to manage inventory transactions and communicate with internal team members. • Communicate professionally via email with internal teams regarding orders, inventory, and materials. • Operate pallet jacks and, once trained, forklifts to move materials and pallets within the warehouse. • Focus on assigned tasks and take ownership of work to meet productivity and accuracy expectations. • Maintain great attendance and demonstrate strong teamwork in a busy warehouse environment. • Lift up to 50 pounds independently as part of daily material handling duties. Essential Skills

• Previous experience in inventory control, including performing cycle counts. • Hands-on experience with material handling in a warehouse environment. • Proven experience in order picking and warehouse packing activities. • Experience in shipping and receiving, including receiving duties and packaging. • Prior experience completing transactions in an ERP system. • Ability to operate a pallet jack safely and efficiently. • Proficiency using computers for daily work tasks. • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally via email with internal team members. • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds independently. • Strong sense of ownership over work, with reliable attendance and teamwork. • Willingness to be trained on and operate a forklift. • Comfort working in a small warehouse team and collaborating across departments. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy environment while staying focused on assigned tasks. • Flexibility to assist shipping, customer service, and manufacturing teams as operational needs require. • Attention to detail in organizing warehouse space and maintaining cleanliness. • Strong work ethic and commitment to meeting productivity and quality standards. Standard hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with opportunities for overtime as business needs require. The position involves regular use of computers and ERP software, as well as material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and, after training, forklifts. The work is physically active and requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently and participate in warehouse cleaning and organization to maintain a safe, orderly facility. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
