Job Title: Packaging Line WorkerJob DescriptionThis temporary position focuses on reviewing returned packaging materials in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing facility. You will perform structured, repetitive tasks that require focus, consistency, and attention to quality. Responsibilities
• Review pallets of returned packaging materials and carton stock to ensure they meet quality standards. • Unfold and inspect boxes for defects, damage, or other quality concerns. • Perform visual quality checks according to established project guidelines and procedures. • Complete simple paperwork accurately to document products reviewed and time spent on each task. • Move efficiently between inspection assignments while consistently maintaining quality standards. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the shift. • Follow all food-grade manufacturing procedures and safety requirements at all times. • Support general production activities such as sorting, packing, picking, and basic packaging tasks as needed. • Use pallet jacks and other basic material-handling tools in a safe and efficient manner when required. • Communicate clearly with team members and follow written and verbal instructions to complete assigned work. Essential Skills
• Strong safety mindset and commitment to following all safety and food-grade manufacturing rules. • Ability to perform repetitive tasks consistently throughout an entire shift while maintaining focus and accuracy. • Strong attention to detail for visual inspection of packaging materials and carton stock. • Reliable attendance and punctuality to support consistent production schedules. • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions to carry out work assignments correctly. • Basic written documentation skills to complete simple forms and records related to inspected products and time tracking. • Positive attitude and willingness to learn new tasks and adapt to project needs. • Comfort with standing and walking for most of the shift in a light-duty production environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, production, quality inspection, or packaging environments is helpful but not required. • Familiarity with high-speed packaging or high-speed manufacturing operations is a plus. • Experience with general production tasks such as sorting, packing, picking, and visual inspection is beneficial. • Ability to work voluntary overtime, including extended shifts up to 12 hours per day and up to 6 days per week, when desired. Jewelry and facial piercings are not permitted on the production floor to maintain safety and cleanliness.
