Job Title: AME Seat Tech - Aircraft MechanicIf interested, and have experience with martin baker seating call Kenna at 843 972 1886 to be set up with an interviewJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Aircraft Mechanic specialized in AME Seat Technology to join our team. This role involves maintaining the F/A-18E, F/A-18F, and F-18 Super Hornet fighter aircraft, focusing on aircraft modifications and egress systems.Responsibilities
• Maintain various aircraft egress systems such as seat and canopy ejection, gaseous and liquid oxygen systems, ejection seats, fire extinguishing systems, and more. • Remove and install oxygen system valves, gauges, converters, and regulators. • Inspect, remove, install, and rig ejection seats, shoulder harnesses, and lap belts. • Inspect, remove, install, and adjust firing mechanisms and cartridges for ejection seats. • Perform daily, preflight, post-flight, and other periodic aircraft inspections. Essential Skills
• Must have Navy/Marine Corps AME NACES certification. • Experience with F/A-18E, F/A-18F, F-18 Super Hornet aircraft. • Military with a focus on aircraft modifications. • Experience as a CDI or CDQAR. Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Minimum of 5 - 7 recent years of experience performing depot-level/heavy checks on any aircraft. • Experience with equipment overhauls and modifications. The 1st shift operates from 5:30am to 2:30pm, and the 2nd shift from 2pm to 10:30pm, with optional overtime. The work takes place in an open-bay, non-climate-controlled environment. Employees can expense $100 per year for Steel Toed Shoes. You must be open to working any shift. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, TX.
