Job Title: Mechanical Assembly AssociateJob DescriptionThis role focuses on performing basic, standardized mechanical assembly and labeling of components, assemblies, and subassemblies in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment. The position requires close adherence to detailed instructions, accurate reporting of assembly work, and consistent compliance with safety and security procedures while working under direct supervision. Responsibilities • Follow detailed verbal and written instructions to complete assembly tasks accurately and efficiently. • Perform basic, standardized, and repetitive mechanical assembly operations on components, assemblies, and subassemblies. • Apply labels to components, assemblies, or subassemblies according to specified procedures and visual aids. • Manually assemble inserted components using visual aids and verify specifications before completing assembly. • Inspect parts and assemblies to ensure work is performed correctly and meets quality standards. • Use scanners and hand tools to support assembly, labeling, and tracking of parts and finished products. • Accurately report assembly work, including quantities, status, and any issues encountered during production. • Work under the direct, close supervision of the Manufacturing Supervisor, Line Manager, or other assigned management. • Follow all safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe working environment. • Comply with and follow all procedures within the company security policy. • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support production and operational needs. Essential Skills • Ability to follow detailed verbal and written instructions consistently. • Experience performing mechanical assembly tasks in a manufacturing or warehouse environment. • Proficiency using hand tools and power tools for assembly work. • Capability to use scanners and basic equipment to support assembly and labeling processes. • Ability to inspect assembled parts and identify errors or defects. • Physical ability to lift up to 35 pounds as part of daily work activities. • Reliability in accurately reporting assembly work and production information. • Commitment to following safety rules, regulations, and security procedures. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Prior experience in an assembly or production role in a manufacturing or warehouse environment. • Comfort working with repetitive, standardized tasks while maintaining quality and accuracy. • Strong attention to detail when using visual aids and verifying specifications. • Willingness to work under close supervision and follow established processes. • Ability to adapt to additional duties and responsibilities as production needs change. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Florence, KY. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.70/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
