Electronics MRO Technician - Now Hiring (For quicker response, email resume directly to: [email protected])Shift: Monday to Thursday, 5am to 3:30pm (Optional overtime on Fridays)Pay: $28/hour (pay raise after 90 days)Location: North SarasotaJob Description:We are seeking a skilled Electrical MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) Technician to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, assemble, and test complex electrical and electromechanical components. This role requires strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work with electrical systems in a fast-paced manufacturing and repair environment.Key Responsibilities:
• Perform maintenance, repair, and overhaul of electrical and electromechanical components. • Disassemble, inspect, clean, troubleshoot, repair, and reassemble equipment according to technical specifications and work instructions. • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and engineering documentation. • Diagnose electrical and mechanical failures using a variety of testing and diagnostic equipment. • Replace defective components and perform corrective repairs. • Conduct functional and operational testing to ensure components meet performance requirements. • Accurately complete maintenance records, repair documentation, and inspection reports. • Follow all quality standards, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements. • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment. • Collaborate with quality, engineering, and production teams to support operational goals and customer delivery schedules. Required Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an electrical, electronics, avionics, maintenance, or repair technician. • Ability to troubleshoot electrical and electromechanical systems. • Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical documentation. • Proficiency using diagnostic tools such as multimeters and other electronic test equipment. • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. • Basic computer skills and experience documenting work performed. • High school diploma or GED required. • Technical school training, military electronics experience, or aviation maintenance experience is highly preferred. Preferred Skills:
• Aerospace, aviation, military, manufacturing, or industrial maintenance experience. • Experience with component repair and overhaul processes. • Knowledge of quality systems and regulatory compliance requirements. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Review work orders and maintenance instructions. • Inspect incoming components for defects and damage. • Perform electrical troubleshooting and root-cause analysis. • Repair or replace faulty electrical and electromechanical parts. • Reassemble and test repaired units to verify proper functionality. • Document maintenance activities and repair results. • Coordinate with supervisors, inspectors, and engineers on repair requirements. • Support production schedules while maintaining high quality standards. • Participate in workplace organization and continuous improvement initiatives.
